In a thrilling clash at the Monacan HS Football Field, the Grove United suffered a narrow defeat against Lynchburg FC, with a final score of 2-3. The visiting side broke the deadlock early in the match as Kevin Nova Euceda found the back of the net in the 27th minute, giving Lynchburg the momentum they needed to control the tempo.

The second half saw an exhilarating exchange of goals. Carson Davis equalized for the home team just five minutes into the half, igniting hopes of a comeback.However, Lynchburg responded with a brilliant strike from Saul Lopez in the 67th minute, followed by Sean DeLorenzo's pivotal goal in the 81st, putting them ahead 3-2.
