Lynchburg FC

About Us

Our Story

Carlos Munoz and Greg White started Lynchburg FC in 2020. After playing at the collegiate level, both Munoz and White continued playing soccer in the Lynchburg community. They experienced first-hand and heard from others the need for competitive soccer in Lynchburg outside of the collegiate level. This is why Lynchburg FC was created.

Our mission is to develop the Lynchburg soccer community by creating a competitive environment that focuses on player development, quality soccer, community engagement and love for the game.

The League

Lynchburg FC competes in the NorthEast Conference Beltway Division of the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL). The club will play annually in both the spring (March - June) and fall (September - December) regular seasons.

The UPSL was founded in 2011 and currently includes more than 300 teams nationally and is the fastest growing Pro Development League in the USA.

UPSL teams are all eligible to participate in the U.S. Open Cup Qualifying Rounds through the league’s affiliation with the U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) and the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA).
