We are excited to introduce Payden Pemberton as the new head coach of Lynchburg FC!

Coach Pemberton is the current head coach of the Men's Soccer team at Southern Virginia University. In his second season as head coach, he led the team to their first conference tournament appearance in 2022. In the following 2023 season, he led them to another conference tournament with the program's first-ever winning record. 

Before Southern Virginia University, Pemberton coached the Park City Red Wolves USL2 squad. There, he helped the squad win the Mountain Conference Championship in 2021 and 2022. 

He also acted as the assistant coach at Brigham Young University where he helped coach the team to a NIRSA National Championship. 

Pemberton played professionally in Queensland, Australia for the Coomera Colts. While there, he led the team in goals during the 2019 season. Before his professional career, he was a player for the Las Vegas Mobsters and Salt City SC in the USL2 league. He was also a collegiate athlete at Utah Valley University and BYU.
